The MFA: Community, Respect, and Unity
We are the Marlboro Faculty Association, a labor union of 197 educators—teachers, counselors, and specialists—employed by the Marlboro Central School District.
We serve the students and families of this district with pride, recognizing that our schools are the heart of our community. As educators, we are stewards of our community’s future, and every day we strive to help each of our students achieve their potential.
The MFA Announces School Board Endorsements
The School Budget and School Board Election will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 6 AM - 9 PM at Marlboro Town Court.
The Marlboro Faculty Association is supporting three candidates for the Board of Education who have a strong vision for the direction of the school district, an understanding of our students and their needs, and a desire for a collaborative relationship with all stakeholders.
We believe Jennifer DeSantis, Michael Schreiber, and John Shillieto are the best choice to lead our district in the upcoming years. They will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board of Education as well as a commitment to success of the students of this community.
“The power of kindness and community can warm the heart.”
— Kathy Keane, Teacher and leader of Marlboro Faculty Association Community Action Team
